Meet Chefleen
Hello There!
I’m Chefleen — a Chopped Champion, Food Network alum (four times over!), mama, and the founder of Harlem Homemade. After working in dozens of homes and feeding hundreds of families over the years, I realized something important: the dinner table isn’t just about food — it’s about connection.
I started this business because I didn’t want to miss dinner with my own family. As a working mom, I know how overwhelming evenings can get. That’s why I set out to make high-quality, feel-good meals more accessible for busy households — especially here in Harlem, the neighborhood I call home.
My food is always rooted in flavor, seasonality, and wellness — but it’s also designed for real life. I’m currently training as a postpartum doula and I lead a mom group where I see, every week, how much support parents truly need (and deserve). I also founded KinHaven House to meet that need beyond the plate — a social club and gathering space designed to bring parents and kids into community.
Harlem Homemade is my love letter to family dinner — and my mission to help you get something nourishing on the table without burning out.
